A Visit to Our School:
If you want to see full integration of the arts, visit West Port High School. You will find students all over campus with instruments, cameras, etc. Groups of students can be found rehearsing throughout the campus- before school, after school, during lunch, and between classes. You can see other curriculum teachers using the arts to enhance and support their curriculum.

Our Special Arts Programs:
West Port High School’s philosophy embraces the belief that all students are talented. Auditions are ‘placement auditions’ and all students are welcome to attend. This allows students who have never studied the arts to find the artist within and take a chance to learn something new. In previous years our students have been awarded over half a million dollars in scholarships to some of the most highly competitive art schools in the nation. Some of these students never participated in the arts before coming to West Port High School. We think that is pretty special!
