A Visit to Our School:
Riverview High School is a Florida Department of Education Music Demonstration School. Riverview believes that arts education is essential for all students and plays a pivotal role in success in school and life. The school provides an extremely wide range and large number of arts education programs and courses for its students. In addition to “quantity,” all of Riverview’s arts programs are of the highest quality.

Our Special Arts Programs:
Riverview offers a sound curriculum and is dedicated to fostering excellence, creativity, and self-expression by focusing on individual talents and encouraging a lifelong appreciation of the arts. Riverview offers a successful International Baccalaureate Program with four subject areas in the arts: IB Dance, IB Music, IB Theatre Arts, and IB Visual Arts. Each area is a model of contemporary instructional practices, a detailed, ‘rubric-driven curriculum’, and concurrent quantitative and non-quantitative assessment modalities. Principal Linda Nook states, “Riverview High School arts education programs reflect the vital role of the arts in our community”.
