Primary Partners

The following organizations and institutions provide support, financial and otherwise, to the programs and services of ACE/FAAE.

Florida Department of Education

The Florida Department of Education (DOE) provides annual funding through the ACE (Arts for a Complete Education) Grant. The ACE Grant comprises the largest portion of ACE/FAAE program funding.
The Music and Fine Arts Curriculum Specialist, Dr. Linda Lovins, sits ex officio on the ACE/FAAE Board of Directors and provides technical assistance to ACE-funded programs.

Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs

The Division of Cultural Affairs (DCA) provides funds through several grants, with a strong focus toward supporting the development of ACE Coalitions across Florida, special programs, and partnerships among schools, teaching/practicing artists, and communities. The DCA focus of 2007-2008 is on broadening the constituency for arts education in Florida.
A DOS representative, Laura Stone, Program Manager for Arts in Education, sits ex officio on the ACE/FAAE Board of Directors.

Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network

The Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network (KCAAEN) provides a support network for and among state arts education alliances, acts as a clearinghouse for information on arts education in the nation, and offers limited funding to ACE/FAAE through a special projects grant. ACE/FAAE partners with the KCAAEN to provide national recognition to exemplary schools, school boards, and school leaders throughout Florida.
